In Turkmenistan, at the Galkynysh gas field, which is one of the largest in the world in terms of natural gas reserves, well No. 60 was successfully put into operation.

Drilling of a well of increased complexity started in August 2021.  Drilling work was carried out by Chinese specialists under the contract between the State Concern «Turkmengas» and CNPC (PRC).

The well construction was completed on schedule.  As a result, an industrial inflow of natural gas was obtained from a depth of 4580 meters.

The installation of the mouth of the well was carried out by the builders of the 3rd installation organization of the State Concern «Turkmengas».  High-tech, modern electrical and hydraulic equipment, fiber-optic cables, communications and video surveillance equipment are installed at the wellhead.

Based on the instructions of the President, a digital system is being successfully introduced into the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan.  Fiber optic cables, communication and video surveillance equipment installed at the mouth of this well allow operators of the 1st natural gas desulfurization unit and the primary gas treatment unit of the Galkynysh gas field of the Marygazchykarysh Department to control the production of raw gas from the well and manage the transportation of natural gas through a digital system  through a high pressure pipeline.

In 2022, specialists and employees of the 3rd specialized construction and installation organization also put into operation the 309th production well at the Galkynysh field.  Currently, construction and installation work is being actively carried out at the mouths of the 294th and 30th production wells of the site.
