President: road show in Dubai is important in attracting foreign capital to the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of the upcoming roadshow in Dubai (UAE) in attracting foreign capital to the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan.
Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Ashirguly Begliev reported on the preparations for the visiting International Forum on Attracting Foreign Investments in the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan, which is scheduled to be held on April 26-27 in Dubai (UAE), at a government meeting last Friday.
As reported, the purpose of this event is to expand the opportunities for attracting foreign direct investment in the domestic fuel and energy complex.
The agenda of the upcoming conference includes such topics as the efficient use of the richest natural resources, the development of energy markets, attraction of investments in projects for the development of offshore blocks of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, new mechanisms for interaction in the field of increasing productivity at the Galkynysh field, the introduction of environmentally friendly industries, attracting innovative technologies and know-how to the industry, etc.
After listening to the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of the forthcoming International Forum on attracting foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan in Dubai in actively promoting the energy diplomacy of our country and attracting foreign capital, as well as in exchanging experience in introducing advanced technologies.
In this regard, the Head of State instructed the Vice-Chairman to ensure the holding of the International Forum at a high level.
