On Saturday, May 6, a reporting meeting was held at the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, at which the results of the work of enterprises in the industry for four months of the current year, held under the motto "The Year of Happy Youth with Arkadagly Serdar", were discussed.
During the meeting, the tasks assigned to the oil and gas complex of the country by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on May 4 on the digital system, which summed up the work of the sectors of the national economy for this period, were discussed.
Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Ashirguly Begliev emphasized that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has great confidence in the workers of the oil and gas industry and sets great tasks for the domestic fuel and energy complex. At the same time, the Vice-Chairman noted that the state regularly provides support for the further development of the oil and gas complex.
At the reporting meeting, the State Minister of Turkmenistan - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Batyr Amanov, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agadzhanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" Merdan Roziev, General Director of the Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company CJSC Maksat Pirliev, as well as heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex.
The speeches provided information on the achieved technical and economic indicators in the field of oil and gas condensate production in the country, diversification of the national economy, development of cooperation with large oil and gas companies of foreign countries and further improvement of activities in this area, widespread use of the digital system in the activities of the complex, activation works for the implementation of the second, third and fourth stages of the development of the Galkynysh gas field, as well as the need to control the construction of the transnational gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman Ashirguly Begliev emphasized that large construction projects planned and implemented in the oil and gas complex of the country should be under constant control, it is necessary to effectively use the production and economic potential, and actively introduce modern technologies. In this context, the tasks arising from the international forum held on April 26-27 in Dubai (UAE) to attract foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan were also noted, and relevant instructions were given.
During the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman Ashirguly Begliev, noting the relevance of implementing the tasks set by the head of state on schedule, achieving labor success and strict implementation of production plans, also outlined the specific tasks facing the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit”, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”, Turkmen national oil and gas company CJSC.
