 The high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres was noted during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Foreign Minister Berdiniyaz Myatiev and the new Consul General of Iran in Turkmenistan (in the city of Mary) Abdolmajid Kamju.  This is reported by the website of the Foreign Ministry of our country.

 During the talks, the effectiveness of interaction between the Mary region and the Khorasan-e-Rezavi region in the trade and economic sphere and in the provision of consular services was also noted.

 The parties exchanged views on the need to further expand bilateral cooperation in the field of transport, trade and energy, as well as to organize regular contacts at the level of heads of administrations of the border velayats of the two countries.
