President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and members of his family congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his re-election as President of the Republic of Turkey, TDH reported on Monday.
In a congratulatory message to esteemed brother Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on behalf of the Turkmen people, hearty congratulations are addressed on this historical day for the Turkish people with a political victory – democratic re-election to the post of President of the Republic of Turkey and wishes to achieve great success in the state activities in the future.
On Sunday evening, the Turkish Central Election Commission confirmed that Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the second round of the presidential elections. According to the data, after processing 99.75% of the ballots, Erdogan receives 52.1% of the vote, and thus he is re-elected for a new term. His opponent, opposition leader Kemal Kılıchdaroglu, scored 47.9%.
Among his main tasks as President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the reduction of inflation and the creation of a gas hub for the supply of “blue fuel” to Europe.
