Issues of the socio-economic development of the country and drafts of some documents were considered at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held last Friday in a digital system.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the measures taken to increase the production rate of oil wells and ensure their uninterrupted operation.
As reported, in order to increase oil production, planned work is being carried out to reduce the inflow of formation water, flushing sand and paraffin plugs.
Along with this, the technological modernization of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” is being consistently carried out through the installation of modern equipment.
Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the steady implementation of development programs for the domestic fuel and energy complex, aimed at strengthening its industrial and export potential, as well as modernizing the sectoral infrastructure, and addressed the Vice-Chairman with specific instructions related to the continuation of work in this direction.
