President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated compatriots on the holiday of Eid al-Adha, which is celebrated for three days – June 28-29-30.

 “From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on the holy Eid al-Adha – a wonderful holiday of high morality, spiritual purity and humanism!”, says the congratulatory address of the President to the people of independent neutral Turkmenistan, published on Wednesday in the leading media of our country.

 “Eid al-Adha is an ancient holiday that preaches decency and nobility, popularizes solidarity and harmony in the world, and increases enthusiasm in our society,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted.

 “In this year of the Revival of a new era of powerful state, each day of which is marked by glorious events, according to the established tradition, for three days we widely and with great enthusiasm celebrate Eid al-Adha, which has become a hymn of spiritual virtue, purity of faith and high humanism.  On holidays in our capital – the city of Ashgabat, in all corners of the country we hold solemn events that unite our people, form people’s feelings of humanism and patriotism,” the President’s address says.

 The head of state emphasized that this year the celebration of Eid al-Adha coincides with the events that will be inscribed in golden letters in the history of the country: the grand opening of the first phase of the development of the city of state importance Arkadag, international and cultural events, the Day of Cultural and Art Workers, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi.

 In his address, the President also wished his compatriots “good health, longevity, happiness and prosperity, great success in their work for the sake of the prosperity of their Homeland!”.
