UAE joins Global Biofuels Alliance

 The United Arab Emirates has joined the Global Biofuels Alliance, which was created by India, the UK and the US.  This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Energy of the United Arab Emirates Suheil al-Mazrui, TASS reports.

 The minister noted that the UAE is “strongly investing in biofuels” as part of efforts to diversify energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

 The International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates that global biofuel production should triple by 2030.  Currently, more than 80% of biofuel production is concentrated in four markets: the US, Brazil, Europe and Indonesia.

TCOR plans to introduce a fully automated digital database

It is planned to introduce a fully automated digital database at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR). For these purposes, an international tender has been announced. The contractor who won the tender will have to develop a tender proposal for the design and implementation of a full range of works to create and introduce a new digital system into the work of the TCOR.

SC «Turkmengas» will sign additional agreements with CNPC to finance projects to increase gas production and exports

The State concern «Turkmengas» will sign with the Chinese company «CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited» additional agreements on financing contracts aimed at increasing the production and export of Turkmen natural gas. The relevant resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, allowing the signing of additional agreements, was published in the media of the country.

President of Turkmenistan approved the Roadmap for cooperation in the field of hydrogen energy

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution approving the Roadmap for the development of international cooperation of Turkmenistan in the field of hydrogen energy for 2022-2023. The corresponding resolution of the head of state was published in the media of Turkmenistan.
