The forum “Central Asia - Republic of Korea” - the partnership in the economic sphere is among the priority tasks

 Following the results of the cooperation forum “Central Asia-Republic of Korea” held on November 1, a joint statement of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs was adopted, and the work plan of the Secretariat was approved CA-RK forum for 2024. This was reported in a press release from the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, posted on the department's website. 

“The current meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian and RK countries was devoted to the topic “Cooperation through the realization of the colossal potential of young people in shaping a sustainable future in Central Asia and the Republic of Korea,” the press release says. 

“This wording is reflected in the joint efforts of the forum member countries to develop the agenda, which defines the key directions for further partnership for the coming years, where the role of youth, its potential that are emerging today will be of decisive importance”, noted in a press release. The report says that 

“As one of the priority tasks of the CA-RK cooperation format is partnership in the economic sphere. In this context, it is emphasized that the presence of Korean business in Central Asia, the implementation of joint projects in various areas can significantly and positively affect the development of the region, give new prospects to a broad and mutually beneficial international partnership.” 

“The participants of the meeting expressed a common opinion on the need and importance of focusing efforts on promising areas of cooperation in the format of cooperation “Central Asia-Republic of Korea”, ensuring the complementarity and application of existing objective advantages and resources,” the press release says.
