Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan signed a road map of cooperation for 2023-2024 years. This is reported by the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The document was signed on Wednesday by the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov on the sidelines of the 16th meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Forum of Cooperation «Central Asia-Republic of Korea».
It is noted that the “road map” was developed in order to specify the terms of the practical implementation of the agreements and agreements reached during the visits at the highest level between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The document provides for the key areas for the implementation of joint activities in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres and interactions in the field of energy, transport and logistics, as well as in the water sector and environmental protection.
