The President emphasized the need to improve the Rules for the supply and consumption of natural gas

 On December 16, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which priority issues of state life were discussed.

 During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the state of affairs in the fuel and energy complex, and in particular, on the work carried out by the State Concern «Turkmengas».

 As reported, steps are currently being taken to strengthen the material and technical base of the state concern and introduce advanced technologies and a digital system into its structure.

 At the same time, appropriate work is being carried out to modernize the regulatory framework of the fuel and energy complex, as well as to improve the Rules for the supply and consumption of natural gas.

 Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to improve these Rules, which must meet the requirements of the time.  In this context, the head of state addressed the Vice-Chairman with a number of specific instructions related to the continuation of relevant work.
