33 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Scotland, Afghanistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan purchased polypropylene and aviation kerosene produced at the technological installations of the SC «Turkmennebit» for foreign currency. Representatives of the UAE business community also purchased urea produced by the SC «Turkmenchemistry».
Cotton fabric and yarn, men's shirts, licorice roots and rhizomes, and raw silk were also sold for foreign currency. Buying countries: Türkiye, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan.
The total amount of transactions amounted to over 19 million 446 thousand US dollars.
Domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene, lighting kerosene, base oil and petroleum road bitumen produced by the SC «Turkmennebit», as well as handmade carpets, bed linen sets, and raw silk for the domestic market. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 28 million 902 thousand manats.
