On August 13, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, who is on a visit to Ankara, was received by the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, Rashid Meredov conveyed greetings and best wishes to the head of Turkey from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres were considered.
The interlocutors noted the high pace of development of interstate cooperation and emphasized the desire to further strengthen partnership in bilateral and multilateral formats.
An exchange of views also took place on current issues on the regional and international agenda of mutual interest.
