The opportunities to deepen partnership in the trade and economic sphere, fuel and energy, industrial and transport sectors were discussed at a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on its website.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of practical implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level during previous events held within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
The opportunities for further deepening partnership in the trade and economic sphere, including the fuel and energy and industrial sectors, transport and logistics were considered, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes.
The diplomats also exchanged views on enhancing interregional contacts and cultural and humanitarian exchanges. Current issues on the regional and international agenda were also discussed.
The meeting took place as part of the participation of the delegation of Turkmenistan in the 28th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
