The possibility of creating a joint venture for oil refining was discussed at a meeting between the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Farrukh Sharifzod and the Director General of the Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company (NAPECO) Maksat Pirliev, Orient reports.
In this regard, the possibility of supplying oil products to Tajikistan was also considered.
In 2021, Turkmenistan established the export of liquefied gas to Tajikistan, by the end of last year, the supply of LNG amounted to about 5 thousand tons of liquefied gas. Dushanbe announced its intention to increase purchases of Turkmen oil products.
