Talks between the President of Turkmenistan and the Prime Minister of Hungary began in Ashgabat

 Today, negotiations began in Ashgabat between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, who arrived in Turkmenistan the day before on an official visit, TDH reports on Friday.

 After the official meeting ceremony, the parties hold a meeting in a narrow format, after which the negotiations will continue in an expanded format with the participation of members of government delegations of the two countries.

 It is expected that the President of Turkmenistan and the head of the Hungarian government will discuss issues of intensifying bilateral ties in areas of mutual interest.  The parties will pay special attention to such promising areas as energy, transport, pharmaceuticals, the textile industry, investment activities, agriculture and water management.

 Following the results of the Turkmen-Hungarian talks at the highest level, it is planned to sign a package of bilateral documents.
