Seminar of trade unions of oil and gas industry workers was held at NTZ "Avaza"

Training and consulting sessions in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza" were jointly organized by the Council of Trade Unions of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, the Trade Union Committee of the SC "Turkmennebit", and the Balkan region Trade Unions association.

The training seminar, held at the "Gyami" Hotel, was attended by industry specialists, including labor protection and technical safety departments, as well as lawyers and technical inspectors from the western region of the country. During the event, speeches were heard on achievements in the implementation of socially oriented state policy and the tasks of trade unions. The speakers paid attention to the implementation of the current year’s work plan, held under the motto “Magtymguly Fragi's Fount of Mind”, the topic of regulating labor relations and labor protection of workers and industry specialists in accordance with the legislation in this area, as well as changes and additions made to the Labor Code of Turkmenistan.In particular, the seminar participants discussed the issues of targeted use of financial resources in primary trade union organizations, compliance with labor protection and technical safety rules in the structures of the Turkmennebit State Concern, creation of favorable working conditions in production, as well as the procedure for concluding and implementing collective agreements.

Those gathered exchanged views on establishing public control over the implementation of these tasks and on other organizational issues.Sports and cultural events, meetings and excursions are organized for participants of the training seminar.
