The State Concern “Turkmennebit” is carrying out targeted work to increase hydrocarbon production from deep wells.  Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the work being done in this direction at a government meeting on March 7.

In particular, it was reported that complex measures are being implemented in the fuel and energy sector in order to search for and produce oil and natural gas.  In particular, the State Concern “Turkmennebit”, using international practice, carries out exploration of productive formations in deep wells that differ from traditional ones.

In this regard, to increase the productivity of wells and deep drilling of new underground wells in oil and gas fields, all conditions are created to equip them with modern specialized equipment and technical installations.

After listening to the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that in order to further increase oil production in the country, it is necessary to regularly improve the material and technical base of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”.

In this context, the Vice-Chairman was instructed to continue the implementation of measures to provide the industry with new equipment and tools that will allow appropriate work to be carried out on wells located in oil and gas fields with a depth of more than 7 thousand meters.
