Updated sanatorium "Shatlyk" opened the door for vacationers

The "Shatlyk" health resort of the Marygazchykarysh Department of the SC "Turkmengas" is located on the picturesque bank of the Karakum River. Renovated after repair, the sanatorium is located on an area of ​​6.3 hectares, where magnificent trees and well-groomed gardens with shady vegetation are spread. Reconstruction and overhaul of the sanatorium was carried out by employees of the Marygazchykarysh Department.  Now it’s even more comfortable and more pleasant to relax in “Shatlyk”.  In one-room, double and triple rooms, a complete update is made.  The modern design of the rooms is done in pastel colors, which creates a cozy and warm atmosphere. The sanatorium accepts not only workers in the gas industry.  Over a year, up to two thousand people improve their health in "Shatlyk". Vacationers are provided with a wide range of healing methods based on balneology and mud therapy, the use of wellness clay from Mollakara. The sanatorium has at its disposal patients a halochamber, ozokerite, a source of hydrogen sulfide water.  The resort has become widely known due to the treatment of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and biliary tract, skin diseases, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, peripheral nervous system, etc. Among the physiotherapeutic procedures are also mud therapy, hydrogen sulfide baths, acupuncture, electromassage, manual massage, sauna.
