15 transactions were registered at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Representatives of business circles of the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas produced at the technological units of the State Concern "Turkmengas" and polyethylene products (SC "Turkmenchemistry") for foreign currency. Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan also purchased diesel fuel (SC "Turkmennebit").
Finished products of the textile industry, cotton yarn and regenerated fiber from textile waste were also sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: UAE, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan.
The total amount of transactions was more than 5 million 110 thousand US dollars.
Domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene (SC "Turkmennebit"), as well as float glass, hand-made carpets and purified cotton waste for the domestic market. The total amount of transactions exceeded 3 million 364 thousand manats.
