Enterprises of the State Concern «Turkmennebit» are working hard on industrial development of oil and gas fields, increasing the production of hydrocarbon raw materials. In this regard, it is necessary to note the activities of the labor collective of the «Turkmennebitgeofizika» department in the year of the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of our homeland – «The Fount of Mind of Magtumguly Fragi».
Successful implementation of the development program aimed at strengthening the industrial and export potential of the country's fuel and energy complex, modernization of the industry infrastructure based on the introduction of innovative technologies and advanced developments into production, in accordance with the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan at the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on July 12 of this year, is one of the urgent tasks. Specialists of the «Turkmennebitgeofizika» department, recognized as an advanced enterprise in the country, spare no effort to implement the tasks set by the head of state.
Geophysicists of the enterprise, equipped with the most advanced equipment and technologies, managed to perform work in addition to the plan for the amount of more than 13 million 931 thousand manats during the reporting period of the current year. It is impossible to imagine the search for hydrocarbon raw materials from deposits on the territory of our country without the effective work of specialists of this department. Geophysicists perform dozens of urgent tasks, such as in-depth study of the geophysical layers of the earth in existing wells, as well as in new wells being developed in hydrocarbon-rich deposits.
Laboratories in Balkanabat, as well as mobile laboratories installed in specialized vehicles purchased from international manufacturers, are of great importance in these matters. Over the past few years, this department has become one of the leading enterprises capable of performing important tasks using the latest technologies in the country's oil and gas complex. Expeditions of industrial geophysics, for the development of high-tech equipment, repair services for well-geophysical equipment and logging equipment ensure the successful solution of these problems.
During the reporting period of the year, the total amount of work performed in the department of «The Fount of Mind of Magtumguly Fragi» exceeded 61 million 586 thousand manats. This indicates that the plan for the seven months of the current year has been fulfilled by 129 percent. Industrial and geophysical expeditions in the cities of Hazar and Ekerem, an expedition for the installation of computer-technological and high-tech equipment in Balkanabat make a significant contribution to the regular implementation of production tasks.
The relevant divisions of the enterprise are currently successfully conducting geophysical research and other equally important work on the wells being developed in the fields in the western region of the country. Each of the geophysicists is immensely proud of their worthy contribution to the growth of the economic power of our Homeland with their honest work, and express sincere gratitude to the head of state for creating favorable working conditions and ample opportunities for achieving high production indicators.
The sectoral meeting summed up the results of the activities of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan for five months of 2025
On June 5, a reporting meeting on the results of the industry’s enterprises for the first five months of this year, the International Year of Peace and Trust, was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan. The Internet Portal of Renewable Energy Sources includes advanced methods for determining the potential of solar and wind energy in the regions of the country using a digital system.
