The President of Turkmenistan approved the Strategy for the Development of Science for 2024-2052

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree approving the Strategy for the Development of Science in Turkmenistan for the period from 2024 to 2052. The corresponding document was published in the central media of our country.
As noted in the decree, the document was adopted "in order to develop the domestic scientific sphere, conduct modern fundamental scientific-theoretical and scientific-practical research, introduce scientific achievements in the economic sector, further expand the interaction of education, science, production and commerce in the field of promising industries, and form a generation of young scientists with a broad outlook and innovative thinking.
The decree also approved an action plan for 2024-2028, which should be implemented to implement this Strategy.
According to the decree, the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the relevant ministries are obliged to ensure the implementation of the measures envisaged in the Strategy.
