Following the first state visit of the President of Mongolia to Turkmenistan and the high-level talks between the heads of the two states, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Uhnaagiin Hurelsukh, a signing ceremony of bilateral documents was held, TDH reports.

In the presence of the heads of state, agreements were signed between the governments of Turkmenistan and Mongolia on air and international automobile communication.

Agreements were also signed between the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine and livestock farming and on cooperation in the field of food and agriculture.

In addition, two Memorandums of Understanding on cultural cooperation and on tourism were signed between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

A Joint Statement on Interstate Relations and Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Mongolia was also adopted.
