GDP growth of Turkmenistan in January-November amounted to 5.8%

For eleven months of 2020, the growth rate of Turkmenistan's GDP increased by 5.8%, Vice-Chairman Gadyrgeldy Mushshikov said at a government meeting last Friday.
It was also noted that in January-November, the volume of products produced is 4% higher compared to the same period in 2019. The volume of retail turnover in comparison with the same period last year increased by 18%.
Following the results of 11 months, the revenue side of the State budget of the country was executed at the level of 110.4%, and the expenditure side - 89.6%.
Salaries for large and medium-sized enterprises in January-November increased by 10.3% compared to the same period in 2019.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that production growth was ensured in all sectors of the national economy in the reporting period. The size of wages, pensions and state benefits has been increased. Numerous industrial and social facilities have been built and commissioned.
Until the end of this year, the head of state noted, there is very little time left, and therefore we must complete it with good results, resolve many issues in order to confidently enter the new, 2021.
