158 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Businessmen from Great Britain, UAE, Turkey, Switzerland, Malta, Afghanistan and other countries purchased aviation kerosene, motor gasoline, hydrotreated diesel fuel, heating oil, petroleum bitumen produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency. Also, businessmen from the UAE, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan bought ECO 93 gasoline (SC “Turkmengas”), and representatives of the business circles of Kazakhstan – carbamide (SC «Turkmenchemistry»).
Also, colorless sheet glass, cotton yarn, dry extract of licorice were sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: UAE, Turkey, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
The total amount of transactions exceeded USD 116 million.
For manat funds, merchants from the UAE, Scotland, Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn for a total of about 15 million manat.
Domestic businessmen bought high density polyethylene and polypropylene (SC «Turkmengas») for the local market, as well as hand-made carpets for a total amount of about 320 million manat.
