President of Turkmenistan approved the volumes of oil products for domestic consumers for 2022

 President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution approving the volumes of oil products, including motor gasoline, diesel and marine fuel, as well as jet fuel for domestic consumers for 2022.

 The document was adopted in accordance with the «Program for the development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030», in order to ensure the uninterrupted supply of institutions, enterprises, public associations, individual entrepreneurs and the population with oil products, as well as the successful implementation of tasks for their most rational use.

 The draft of the relevant Resolution was presented to the head of state by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shakhym Abdrakhmanov at a government meeting last Friday.

 President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the significant role of the fuel and energy complex in the national economy.  In this regard, the importance of a systematic increase in the volume of production and processing of oil and natural gas, the production of a variety of petrochemical products that are in demand domestically and on world markets, as well as expanding its range, was noted.

 The leader of the nation ordered to intensify work on the introduction of modern resource-saving technologies into the industry and keep under constant control the implementation of large infrastructure projects designed to increase the export potential of energy enterprises.

 Having signed the relevant document and sent it to the Vice-Chairman via the digital system, the President of the country instructed to ensure the proper implementation of its provisions.
