 45 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

 Businessmen from Russia purchased polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency, and representatives of business circles from the UK, Afghanistan and Georgia purchased ECO-93 gasoline (SC «Turkmenchemistry»).

 Also, businessmen from Turkey, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan bought cotton yarn, dried licorice roots and rhizomes, and float glass for foreign currency.

 The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 39 million 35 thousand US dollars.

 Entrepreneurs from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased cotton yarn and handmade carpets for a total amount of more than 757,000 manats.

For the local market domestic businessmen purchased Portland cement in the amount of 210,272 US dollars, as well as oil road bitumen (produced by the Turkmen Oil Refinery) and handmade carpets for a total amount of over 3,165,000 manats.
