Last week, 36 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Turkey, Afghanistan, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan purchased straight-run gasoline, hydrotreated diesel fuel, motor gasoline and aviation kerosene. Businessmen from Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates purchased urea and technical iodine produced by the SC «Turkmenchemistry».
Also, cotton yarn and dyed terry products were sold for foreign currency to buyers from Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.
The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 29 million 727 thousand US dollars.
Representatives of business circles from India purchased cotton yarn for the amount of more than 9,724,000 manats for manats.
For the domestic market, domestic businessmen purchased high-density polyethylene (SC «Turkmenchemistry») in the amount of 3,960,000 manats.
