Today, on August 26, in the Central building of the oil and gas complex, an online meeting of the heads of "Turkmengaz" group with the President of the Japanese company "Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd." T. Watanabe took place.

After exchanging warm greetings, T. Watanabe noted with satisfaction the high level of bilateral active cooperation, and also informed about the implementation of the second stage of a major project to build a gasoline production plant in the Akhal region.

During the meeting, the State Minister – Chairman of the state concern "Turkmengaz" B. Amanov noted the importance of bilateral cooperation in the implementation of this major project, briefly voicing the results of operation of the gas chemical complex at the present stage.

As you know, the two countries have a solid contractual base, the parties actively cooperate in the construction of new projects in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries, in particular, there are wide opportunities to improve products.

In recent years, representatives of the Japanese business community have expressed interest in enhancing fruitful mutually beneficial cooperation in the implementation of projects in the field of petrochemicals, electricity, construction materials, and other profitable investment projects.

As you know, this industrial complex was put into operation on June 28, 2019 by the joint efforts Of the state concern "Turkmengaz" and a consortium of companies " Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. "(Japan) and" Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri Inşaat Sanaýi ve Ticaret A. Ş. " (Turkey). The project worth $ 1 billion. 700 million us dollars is designed to process 1 billion 785 cubic meters of natural gas and produce 600 thousand tons of eco-friendly synthetic gasoline ECO-93 compliant with the EURO-5 standard, as well as 115 thousand tons of liquefied gas and 12 thousand tons of refined diesel fuel.
