Actual issues of an international nature and bilateral cooperation were discussed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of the Office of the Prime Minister of Singapore Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The meeting took place within the framework of the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan to participate in a number of events of international and national importance.
During the meeting, the importance of contacts at the highest and high levels in the development of interstate relations, as well as the effectiveness of previous visits, was especially noted.
The parties also discussed topical issues of cooperation in the fields of energy, petrochemistry, transport, investment, agriculture, and education. The possibility of exchanging experience in the field of modern technologies was also considered.
The parties also emphasized the need to establish contacts between the business communities of the two countries.
