25 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan and Turkey purchased aviation and technical kerosene, motor gasoline, hydrotreated diesel fuel, total petroleum coke, diesel fuel, base oil produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency.

Also, polyethylene, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton yarn were sold for foreign currency. Purchasing countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Russia and the UAE.

The total amount of transactions exceeded USD 21 million 771 thousand.

For manat funds, representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan bought cotton yarn and Saraja wool for a total amount of more than 2 million 506 thousand manats.

Domestic businessmen purchased cotton fiber worth over 252,000 manat on the local market.
