During his working trip to the Balkan region, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the chairman of the board of the “Çalik Holding” group of companies Akhmet Chalyk.

As the Turkish businessman noted, the “open door” policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, high rates of economic growth, large-scale programs for the development of the industrial sector, a favorable investment climate create good prerequisites for enhancing partnerships with foreign business circles and broadly attracting world experience in many areas, primarily , in knowledge-intensive and high-tech industries.

Stating the fruitful nature of relations with Turkey, the President noted the activity of the Turkish company in the Turkmen market. In this regard, the Turkmen leader focused on increasing the efficiency of the holding's participation in the implementation of large mutually beneficial projects.

Emphasizing the importance of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, as well as the TAP power transmission line, the construction of which was entrusted to “Çalik Holding”, the head of state instructed the head of the company to complete all work on schedule and at a high level.

Noting that it is a great honor for his company to participate in the implementation of large-scale transformation programs, the Turkish businessman reported on the progress of a number of joint projects.

Having listened to the information, the President once again emphasized that the high quality of construction work and the delivery of facilities within the terms stipulated by the contracts remain an indispensable condition of the Turkmen side.
