The industrial development of the North Goturdepe field and adjacent areas continues dynamically. Here, the brigades of the “Goturdepe” Drilling Department of the “Turkmennebit” State Concern successfully drilled a new well No. 317 with a design depth of 5,000 meters.

As a result, at a depth of 4965 meters, a powerful inflow of oil with a daily flow rate of 100 tons of "black gold" was obtained, which confirms the assessment of experts from the “Nebitgazylmytaslama” Institute.

The field is being developed under a contract signed with “Yug-Neftegaz” (Singapore). Most notably, the oil was recovered from the lower, red-colored layers of the Pliocene field using a Chinese Zj-70 DB rig.

At present, active work is being carried out at wells No. 331 with a design depth of 4860 meters and No. 250 with a design depth of 5,000 meters. Drilling work here has entered its final stages, and soon it is expected to receive an industrial flow of oil.
