Topical issues of bilateral interaction were discussed during the consultations between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia held on Thursday via videoconference, the website of the foreign ministry of Turkmenistan reports.

The Turkmen delegation was led by Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov. On the part of Saudi Arabia - Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud.

During the conversation, the diplomats focused on the need to intensify trade and economic interaction, build up partnerships in the oil and gas, gas chemical industries, as well as in agriculture, textile and construction industries.

A separate topic of discussion was the creation and development of the necessary conditions for attracting investments in advanced sectors of the economy for the implementation of promising projects in the field of construction of various industrial facilities on the territory of Turkmenistan.
