At the government meeting, the results of the work of the fuel and energy complex for January-February were summed up

 The results of the work of the sectors of the national economy for January-February 2023 were summed up at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, which President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held via digital system last Friday.

 During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ashyrguly Begliev reported on the results of the activities of the industries he supervised for two months of the current year.  The report reported on the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, the production of gasoline, liquefied gas, as well as the export of «blue fuel».

 In particular, it was reported that the plan for oil refining by the State Concern «Turkmennebit» was fulfilled at the level of 101.2 percent.

 The Vice Premier also reported that the plan for the production of diesel fuel was fulfilled by 100.8 percent, polypropylene – by 105 percent, lubricating oils – by 110.7 percent.

 During the reporting period, the implementation of the plan for the production of natural and associated gas amounted to 105.3 percent.

 Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the need to implement comprehensive measures to increase hydrocarbon production and ensure the operation of enterprises at the level of design capacity.

 At the same time, the head of state focused on the importance of establishing direct cooperation with manufacturers of imported equipment, spare parts, chemicals and consumables to ensure their uninterrupted supply at competitive prices.

 Highlighting the importance of taking effective steps to attract leading foreign companies and investments in order to develop new oil and gas fields, implement large investment projects, as well as widely introduce modern technologies into production, the President of Turkmenistan addressed the Vice-Chairman with specific instructions.
