The delegation of Turkmenistan discussed at the forum in Kazan issues of cooperation in the field of transport, logistics and industry

 The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan M. Chakiyev took part in the XIV Kazan International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum2023”, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

 The head of the Turkmen delegation acted at the sessions “On the development of the international transport corridor “North-South”” and “Infrastructural conditions for the development of cooperation in the field of industry, transport and logistics between Russia and Turkmenistan”, during which issues of cooperation in the field of transport, logistics were discussed  and industry.

 The delegation of Turkmenistan also took part in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition exposition “Russia Halal Expo”.  The exhibition featured stands of specialized transport institutions of Turkmenistan, as well as various products of Turkmen manufacturers.

 Within the framework of the forum, bilateral negotiations were held between the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan M. Chakiev, with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation M. Khusnullin and with Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation R. Minnikhanov.

 Also on the sidelines of the forum, bilateral meetings of the delegation of Turkmenistan with the General Director of PJSC “Kamaz” S. Kogogin, the General Director of JSC “Holding Company “Ak Bars” I. Egorov, the Secretary of State, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation D. Zverev, as well as representatives  Turkish company “MFA Lojistik”, during which the state and prospects of cooperation were discussed.

 The delegation of Turkmenistan also held a meeting with the delegation of Afghanistan led by the Minister of Industry and Trade Nuriddin Azizi, during which issues of developing cooperation were discussed.

 During the visit to Kazan, the delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the meeting of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia – Islamic World”.
