The delegation of Turkmenistan discussed promising areas of cooperation with French companies

 The official delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov is on a visit to France on September 4-5, during which issues of enhancing the Turkmen-French partnership are discussed.  This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

 During the visit, the Turkmen delegation took part in a business meeting with French companies that are members of the International Association of France “MEDEF-International”.

 The forum participants exchanged views on the intensification and expansion of Turkmen-French cooperation in the field of trade, economy, energy, agriculture and other aspects of bilateral cooperation.

 During the meeting, representatives of French business were acquainted with the key areas of economic development and the investment potential of our country.

 The oil and gas and gas chemical industries, electric power industry, transport and communications, the medical industry and pharmaceuticals, the financial and banking sector, as well as the water management complex were identified as promising vectors for partnership.

 On Monday, Rashid Meredov met with representatives of the French business community.  Including – with the honorary president of the Chamber of Commerce “France-Turkmenistan”, the president of the company "CIFAL International Services” Gilles Remy, the honorary president of the company "CARPI Tech" Alberto Maria Squero and the general director of this company Francois Tronel, the president of the Bouygues group of companies Martin  Bouygues, President of Vinci Construction Grand Projet Patrick Kadri.

 Topical issues of cooperation with these companies were discussed at the meetings.

 During the visit, members of the delegation of Turkmenistan held a number of bilateral negotiations with leaders and representatives of various government agencies, as well as French companies.
