Occupational safety – a guarantee of health and safety

 A training seminar was held in the conference hall of the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern “Turkmengas” with the participation of specialists in labor protection and technical safety of organizations and enterprises of the concern.

 During the seminar, speeches were heard on issues of labor protection and management, proper organization of working conditions, ensuring the safety of each employee and specialist, and in other equally important areas.  Thus, the topics “Training of workers and carrying out demonstrative and explanatory work”, “Conducting labor examinations, certification of workplaces and recording the results”, “Development of labor protection instructions for all types of work and professions, their explanation, presentation to employees and compliance”, “Procedure for appointing a person responsible for occupational safety, industry and fire safety”, etc, are widely covered.

 In addition, at the seminar it was noted that, in accordance with the identified tasks, the necessary measures are being taken to prevent dangerous situations at work, ensure decent working conditions and technical safety, and protect the life and health of workers.

 It was especially emphasized that the material and technical base of the industry is consistently replenished with modern equipment and technologies, which increases the effectiveness of labor protection and technical safety measures.

 Speaking at the seminar, the head of the labor protection and technical safety department of the State Concern “Turkmengas” Ylham Jumageldyev, department specialists Azat Saparmuhamedov, Shohrat Jumayev, technical labor inspector of the Council of the Trade Union of Oil and Gas Industry Workers of Turkmenistan Geldymurat Seitiev emphasized that under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Hero-Arkadag  Providing every citizen of the country with appropriate working, living and rest conditions, as well as comprehensive attention, is a priority direction of state policy.

 The two-day seminar turned out to be effective in enriching and sharing the work experience of occupational health and safety specialists.
