On October 5, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, at which the results of the work of our country’s economic sectors for the nine months of 2023 were summed up, and upcoming tasks were discussed.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on the results of work carried out in the oil and gas industry for January–September of this year. It was reported on the technical And economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production and polypropylene production.
In particular, it was reported that the State Concern “Turkmennebit” fulfilled the plan for oil supply by 100.4 percent, for oil refining – by 101.3 percent, for the production of gasoline – by 105.1 percent, diesel fuel – by 105.1 percent , lubricating oils – by 100.9 percent, liquefied gas – by 111.2 percent.
During the period under review, the plan for the production of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 109.4 percent, and for the export of “blue fuel” – by 114.3 percent.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of discovering new deposits of hydrocarbon resources by ensuring stable productive operation of the oil and gas industry, strengthening the material and technical base of the industry and introducing modern technologies.
The uninterrupted functioning of fuel and energy enterprises at full capacity will allow increasing the output of high-quality products, the head of state said, instructing the Vice-Premier to continue comprehensive work in this direction.
