Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on preparations for the XXVIII International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2023” (OGT-2023), scheduled to be held in Ashgabat on October 25–27 at a government meeting last Friday.
As noted, the forum will be attended by numerous representatives of foreign companies, international financial institutions, domestic and foreign media accredited in our country.
The agenda of the conference will include a wide range of topical issues such as the effective use of the richest natural resources, the development of energy markets, investment activities, the development of new fields, hydrocarbon processing, petrochemistry, gas chemical, chemical industries and electric power, the introduction of environmentally friendly industries, the attraction of innovative technologies and advanced developments, etc.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the oil and gas sector is one of the main sectors of the national economy, noting the great importance of the international conference and exhibition, which will demonstrate the achievements of the country's oil and gas industry. Such forums open up great opportunities for enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners in this sector on an equal, mutually beneficial basis.
At the international forum, special attention should be paid to the exchange of views with foreign companies on areas of industry development, the head of state emphasized, instructing the Vice-Chairman to ensure a high organizational level of this event.
