 33 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

 Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan purchased urea and liquefied gas produced by the Türkmenhimiýa Group of Companies for foreign currency.

 Liquefied gas produced at the technological installations of the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” was purchased by businessmen from Afghanistan.

 Also sold in foreign currency were cotton yarn and fabric, regenerated fiber, spinning waste, undistilled crude fatty acids, dry extract of licorice root and asafoetida, which were purchased by entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Ireland, Serbia, and Hong Kong.

 The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 15 million 668 thousand US dollars.

 For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene (SC “Turkmennebit”), handmade carpets, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, as well as cotton fabric for a total amount of over 54 million 947 thousand manats.
