The President of Turkmenistan set the task of increasing the productivity of the oil refinery

Last Saturday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, the agenda of which included current tasks for the socio-economic development of the country.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the state of affairs in the structural divisions of the fuel and energy complex, in particular at the Seyidi oil refinery of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”.
It was also reported on steps being taken to systematically strengthen the material and technical base of the production facilities of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”. In accordance with the plan, measures are being implemented to modernize technological equipment and ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the oil refinery in order to operate it at full capacity.
A separate topic of the report was preparation for the commissioning of new electricity generation facilities at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, built on the basis of innovative technologies.
Focusing on a number of priority tasks, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov identified among the main ones the increase in productivity of the Seydi oil refinery. In this context, it was noted that modern technologies should continue to be widely introduced at the plant’s subordinate enterprises and new jobs should be created.
Having instructed to take measures to hold at a high level the upcoming opening ceremony of two gas turbine facilities built at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, the head of state addressed the Vice-Chairman with a number of specific instructions.
