Dragon Oil company opened a new office in Ashgabat

The oil company Dragon Oil opened its new office in Ashgabat. This was reported by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Turkmenistan.
Chairman of the Türkmennnebit Group of Companies Guvanch Aghajanov and Executive Director of Dragon Oil Ali Rashid Al-Jarwan greeted those present and held the opening ceremony of the new office, cutting the ribbon.
Dragon Oil has been operating in Turkmenistan since 2000 on the basis of a Production Sharing Agreement. The main area of its activity is the production of hydrocarbons in the Cheleken contract territory in the Caspian Sea, carried out through the development of the Jeitun and Dzhigalybeg oil fields. Dragon Oil's total investment in this project exceeded US$8 billion.
State Concern «Turkmennebit» and Dragon Oil (Turkmenistan) Ltd. Signed a contract to extend the Production Sharing Agreement until May 1, 2035.
During its work in Turkmenistan, Dragon Oil carried out the construction of production and hub offshore stationary platforms, carried out major repairs of existing wells, as well as reconstruction and modernization of all components of the oil field development system.
