Gas workers of the State Concern “Turkmengas” successfully completed the year 2023 under the motto “Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar” in all production indicators, and met the new year 2024 with high labor achievements, which started under the motto “Magtymguly Fragi's Fount of Mind”.

On the eve of the New Year, drillers of the «Turkmengazburawlaiysh» management of the concern received an industrially significant influx of natural gas from the development and appraisal well No.2 of the Yylan gas field, located in Mary region.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sets specific goals for the discovery of new natural gas fields in the regions of our country, their industrial development and development, as well as a significant increase in the production of hydrocarbon resources.  In accordance with the program plan developed by the State Concern «Turkmengas», gas workers of the «Turkmengazburawlaiysh» management simultaneously launched drilling work at the wells of three new gas fields located in Mary region – Sherepli, Kelleli, Yylan.  As a result of drilling high-quality production and appraisal wells according to the established project, an abundant influx of natural gas was obtained.

Thus, at a depth of 2856 to 2852 meters in the production and appraisal well No. 2 of the Yilan field, an industrially significant influx of natural gas was obtained.  This was the result of hard work by gas workers over several months.

According to experts, more than eight hundred and twenty thousand cubic meters of natural gas are produced daily at the well.  At the same time, the main feature of the products from the new gas field is the pure composition of “blue fuel”, without hydrogen sulfide impurities.  This ensures that the quality of natural gas produced from this well meets international standards, which guarantees high economic benefits.
