Turkmenistan and Tajikistan signed intergovernmental agreement on the supply of petroleum products and liquefied gas

 The agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the supply of petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas was signed among a package of 20 documents on Wednesday following negotiations between the Presidents of the two countries Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Emomali Rahmon.

 Having outlined promising areas for further joint work, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that «Turkmenistan is ready to significantly expand cooperation with Tajikistan in the field of trade in the products of the fuel and energy complex».

 As the head of the state emphasized, «the unconditional priority of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan today is the transport and energy sectors».
