The results of the fuel and energy complex for January-March 2024 were discussed at a government meeting

On April 6, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which reports from vice-premiers were heard and the results of the work done in the first quarter of this year were summed up.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of work carried out in the oil and gas industry for January–March 2024.

As was reported, for the first quarter, the State Concern "Turkmennebit" fulfilled the plan for oil production at the level of 102.1%, for the production of gasoline - 101.1%, diesel fuel - by 100%, polypropylene - 100%, lubricating oils - 100%. The growth rate of liquefied gas production was 109.4%.

Information was also provided on the implementation of the plan for oil processing at oil refineries, which amounted to 102.1%.  Along with this, technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, natural and associated gas, as well as supplies of “blue fuel” abroad were reported.

Summarizing the report, the President of Turkmenistan focused on the importance of continuing work to increase the production and export of oil and natural gas.  By effectively using production capacities, it is necessary to ensure the implementation of plans for the refining and production of petroleum products, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, addressing a number of instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
