Turkmenistan is preparing to participate in KazanForum 2024

 Turkmenistan plans to take part in the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2024”.

 This year, the International Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2024” will be held on May 14-19, 2024 in Kazan.

 The main goal of the upcoming event is to strengthen trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between the regions of the Russian Federation and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other partner countries.

 This large-scale international platform annually brings together high-level guests from many countries, representatives of the business community of Russia and Muslim countries, and opens up new opportunities for joint projects at the interregional and interstate levels.

 Several significant events are held within the framework of the forum, such as a meeting of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia – Islamic World”, the International Exhibition of Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation Russia Halal Expo, the International Trade Fair Kazan Halal Market, the Forum of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and others.

 Turkmenistan traditionally participates in this international forum at a high level.  Thus, in 2023, the Turkmen delegation took part in KazanForum 2023, under the leadership of the Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mammetkhan Chakyev.

 In 2022, a high delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the forum under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

 In 2024, during the visit of the Turkmen delegation, it is also planned to establish an exhibition site for Turkmenistan products, hold a number of official and business meetings, and conclude important agreements.
