On May 4, a reporting meeting was held in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, at which the results of the work of industry enterprises for January-April 2024, held under the motto “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” were discussed. At the reporting meeting, the tasks set for the country’s oil and gas complex by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, held on May 3 using the digital system, were discussed, at which the results of the work of all sectors of the country’s national economy were summed up.

At the reporting meeting, held under the leadership of Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, the State Minister of Turkmenistan - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Maksat Babaev, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" Gurbangeldy Garlyev, as well as heads of associations, departments, organizations and enterprises of the complex.

The presentations included information on the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, the widespread use of a digital system in the complex’s activities, the need to control issues related to the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, the development of the dynamics of work at the Galkynysh field, the consistent improvement of specialist qualifications, and the acceleration of the pace of construction work, entering new markets, the results of the Paris International Visiting Forum on attracting foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, held on April 24-25 of this year, as well as in other relevant areas.

During the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov noted the importance of expanding the range of implementation of innovative technologies in the industry, effectively solving problems for the implementation of production planned obligations in accordance with the requirements, familiarizing relevant specialists with the ongoing activities on the ground, and outlined specific tasks facing the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” and the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”.

Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov wished the industry workers success in developing the oil and gas sector and effectively solving the tasks set by the head of state - Hero of Turkmenistan Arkadagly Serdar and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
