On July 19, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, during which Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on the progress of modernization of the facilities of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”, in particular, storage and shipment of liquefied gas.

As reported, as a result of oil refining at the TCOR, along with various types of petroleum products, liquefied gas is produced. Special tanks are used for its storage and shipment to consumers.

In order to increase their capacity, the necessary work is underway to expand the volume of the terminal for transportation, storage and operation of liquefied hydrocarbon gas, located near the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the country pays great attention to the modernization of oil refining facilities, as well as storage and transportation systems for petroleum products.

In this context, the head of state noted the importance of further development of the oil and gas industry, increasing the capacity of storage and shipment facilities for liquefied gas produced at the TCOR, instructing the Vice-Chairman to continue work in this direction.
