On July 26, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov held a regular Cabinet meeting via digital system, where a number of state issues were on the agenda.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on the ongoing efforts to provide the necessary resources for drilling wells at the Galkynysh gas field of the State Concern "Turkmengas".

As the Vice-Chairman noted, this field, one of the world's largest in terms of reserves of Turkmen natural gas, ensures uninterrupted supplies of "blue fuel" to neighboring countries.

In order to develop the Galkynysh field, it is planned to drill and put into operation additional gas wells at the first stage of its development. In this regard, it was noted that measures are being taken to provide material and technical support for this project.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov gave instructions to Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov regarding the acquisition of equipment and materials necessary for drilling new additional gas wells at the Galkynysh field.
